All the Sixes - 1996
OJ's celebrating the start of a new year with a new series - All the Sixes. In this episode, he heads back 30 years to 1996 with tracks from DJ Dado, Gusto and Joan Osborne.
Welcome to a brand new year, 2026! And this series of OJ's All the Sixes One Hit Wonders, this time visiting the year of 1996, where the Stone of Scone was returned to Scotland after 700 years, the UK successfully cloned an animal - Dolly the sheep - and Trainspotting hit the cinemas.
In this episode, you'll hear tracks from Joan Osborne, with a song that was voted one of the Greatest One Hit Wonders of the 90s, the Italian DJ who decided to remix the X-Files, DJ Dado, and Tony Rich, the songwriter for Toni Braxton, Boyz II Men and TLC with his own music under the name The Tony Rich Project.
