John Carter Cash has co-created the musical and shaped the show based on his own recollections and memories of his parents. The Ballad of Johnny & June is narrated by the character of John and told from his point of view. He wrote his mother鈥檚 biography, 鈥淎nchored in Love鈥� and 鈥淗ouse of Cash: The Legacies of My Father Johnny Cash鈥� on his personal relationship with his father.
Lia Leendertz is an award鈥憌inning garden and food writer who trained in horticulture at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Here she talks from her book The Almanac: A Seasonal Guide to 2026.
