Labi Siffre performs alongside the 麻豆社 Concert Orchestra from 麻豆社 Maida Vale studios for Radio 2鈥檚 Piano Room Month.

A poet and singer-songwriter, Labi Siffre began his musical career in 1970, releasing six albums that decade. In 1971, he released the classic track Bless The Telephone (which has discovered a new audience on social media more recently), and his track It Must Be Love from the same year was later covered by Madness. He also had hits with I Got The... and in the 80s wrote the anti-apartheid anthem (Something Inside) So Strong.
