Mark Forrest concludes his week of specially recorded music from Europe and beyond, with a concert performance of Mahler鈥檚 5th Symphony given by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra at last year鈥檚 Salzburg Festival. We also hear from the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and pianist Alexander Gavryluk in Grieg鈥檚 evergreen Piano Concerto, and Michael McHale plays Beethoven鈥檚 bittersweet 鈥淧athetique鈥 sonata.
