Last year, Mark Selby captured his second Welsh Open title with victory over Stephen Maguire in the final. This year, the tournament returns to Venue Cymru in Llandudno where, over the next seven days, the world鈥檚 top players will contest the 2026 Welsh Open title. With four tables in play, matches will be coming thick and fast, with day one action featuring defending champion Mark Selby, Welsh number one Mark Williams, former champion Neil Robertson and Wales鈥檚 Jak Jones.
