Anna Mullarkey and David Kitt

Featuring jazz, folk and electronica composer and performer Anna Mullarkey, and electronic musician and producer David Kitt.

Is cumadóir agus seinnteoir il-uirlise í Anna Mullarkey de bhunadh na Gaillimhe a bhfuil suim aici i réimsí an snagcheoil, an cheol dúchais agus an cheol leictreonach. Is ceoltóir agus léiritheoir é New Jackson – nó David Kitt, mar is fearr aithne air - atá aitheanta as tírdhreacha fuaime leictreonacha bríomhara a chruthú. Tagann an bheirt seo le chéile den chéad uair san eagrán seo de Cumasc: Seisiúin sa Black Gate. Tá meascán de scannán ceolchoirme, cleachtaidh taifeadta agus agallaimh mar chuid den chlár. Is turas tríd an cheol leictreonach atá sa léiriú deireanach s’acu atá lán le fuaim an chláirsigh, an phianó, chomh maith le guthanna ainglí.

Anna Mullarkey is a multi-instrumentalist composer and performer. A Galway native, Anna is at home in the realms of jazz, folk or electronica. New Jackson - the musical alter-ego of renowned singer-songwriter David Kitt - is a musician and producer known for pulsing electronic soundscapes.

These two artists collaborate for the first time in this episode of Cumasc: Seisiúin sa Black Gate. In their interviews, their love for music is obvious, and their individual performances take in both old Irish folk standards and electro. Their final collaboration is a journey through electronica infused with harp, piano and ethereal vocals.
