鈥楻ound Midnight is presented by award-winning saxophonist Soweto Kinch. This weekday late-night show celebrates the thriving UK jazz scene and spotlights the best new music alongside incredible acts from past decades.

This Friday night, Soweto presents live highlights from rising saxophonist Emma Rawicz, taken from two sessions at 麻豆社 Maida Vale with Emma鈥檚 quintet and quartet respectively. The sessions were recorded as part of the 麻豆社 Radio 3 New Generation Artist Scheme, which supports emerging artists to reach the next stages of their career. Emma is part of the scheme鈥檚 2024-2026 cohort, following in the footsteps of jazz musicians who have been previously selected, including Laura Jurd, Fergus McCreadie, and Shabaka.

As well as winning 鈥淏est Newcomer鈥� at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards and being a finalist for 麻豆社 Young Jazz Musician in 2022, she has already released four studio albums. Her latest record titled 鈥淚NKYRA鈥� arriving at the end of last year.
