Six teams are on a mission to buy wooden antiques that they hope will grow them a profit at auction. Presenter Eric Knowles also branches out to learn about treen.
Eric Knowles branches out into the world of wooden antiques, learning about the history of treen and catching up with several red and blue teams across the country as they buy some memorable pieces.
In West Sussex, two friends pin their hopes on a pair of decorative oak chairs, whilst in Devon, sisters Kate and Julie are confident that their musical wooden mushroom will win over the bidders at auction. In Pembrokeshire, Christina Trevanion has a go at carving traditional Welsh love spoons, and Danny Sebastian strikes the right chord with a luthier who makes acoustic and electric guitars by hand. At the end of the episode, Eric counts down the most profitable items and reveals which team has finished at the 'top of the tree'.
