Huw celebrates the musical evolution and lasting legacy of Prince, on the tenth anniversary of his death.

Huw marks the passing of one of music鈥檚 most visionary and transformative artists: Prince. Across the programme, Huw traces the extraordinary evolution of a musician who redefined genre, performance, and artistic independence鈥攃elebrating a legacy that continues to resonate across generations.

Author Matt Thorne, whose book Prince offers deep insight into the artist鈥檚 world, joins Huw to shine a light on some of Prince鈥檚 most underrated tracks. There鈥檚 also a special 6 Musicology (of course!!) with Anjali Perin, exploring Prince鈥檚 enduring influence on contemporary music and culture, alongside a selection of tracks that map his sonic journey. And Bobby Friction also joins the programme to discuss Prince鈥檚 influence on him and and how his music shaped elements of identity in British South Asian culture.

Plus, we hear tributes and reflections from artists including Robyn, Yard Act and Tyka Nelson, each sharing personal memories and the impact Prince had on their work and lives.
