From Ultravox to Garth Brooks, Grand National winner Richard Dunwoody makes his castaway choices with Sue Lawley. From 1999.

Sue Lawley's castaway is the jockey Richard Dunwoody. In retirement, Richard has pursued other activities including photography and mountaineering but he dominated the jump racing scene in the 1980s and 1990s, on famous horses like Desert Orchid and One Man.
Three-time Champion Jockey (1993–1995) he was the first rider to beat the career total of 1,500 winners.

Richard tells Sue about the thrills and considerable dangers of the sport "I've fallen off more than 600 times" he says.
