Kamilah McInnis speaks with Constance Brighouse, who鈥檚 fundraising to transform a Grade II listed building in Thanet into a community hub. Constance envisions Westgate鈥檚 St Augustine's as a space serving people of all ages and backgrounds.

The UK鈥檚 biggest supplier of books by black authors - Brighton鈥檚 Afrori Books - is aiming to sell 1,000 books before the end of April to secure its future. Founder Carolynn Bain sits down with Kamilah to share the latest, and for their monthly book club, Black Ink. They discuss April鈥檚 book, The Library Thief by Kuchenga Shenj茅, who also joins the conversation.

And with I'm Every Woman - The Chaka Khan Musical showing in Eastbourne, Kamilah celebrates the Queen of Funk by playing a game that showcases her music.

Join Kamilah McInnis every Friday from 7pm-10pm for great tunes, good vibes and conversations from our African and Caribbean communities.
