Adam tells Alice that Debbie agreed Brian needs to step back completely from the farm. Adam will draw up a plan to present at the next partnership meeting, when they鈥檒l all tell Brian it鈥檚 time to retire, though Alice expresses her unease at ambushing Brian. At the Eco Office, Brian explains he鈥檚 agreed a deal to store caravans at Home Farm. Adam criticises Brian for making decisions behind his back, while Brian makes it clear he鈥檚 not going to start running the farm by committee. Adam counters that one person making crazy decisions doesn鈥檛 work either. No wonder everyone thinks Brian鈥檚 going gaga. Coming into the middle of their argument Alice demands to know what鈥檚 going on. Adam continues attacking Brian verbally, while Brian questions Adam鈥檚 commitment to the farm. Alice tells Adam to go and cool off. Alone with Alice, Brian insists he鈥檚 not going barmy and that Adam鈥檚 playing games. Alice assures Brian she鈥檒l continue supporting him.

While chatting with Ben in the milking parlour Ruth鈥檚 kicked in the shoulder by a cow. She admits to being distracted ever since Pip found her lump. Plus, Ruth鈥檚 worried about the potential outcome for all of them if she has the BRCA gene test. She鈥檚 been checking the odds of contracting various cancers. Ben tells her to stop looking online and talk to someone who鈥檒l give her proper advice. Asked whether he thinks she should take the test Ben reckons it鈥檚 Ruth鈥檚 decision. Pushed further Ben admits that in her shoes he鈥檇 want to know. Ruth wonders what Josh would say.
