"Plant potatoes for Paddy and dig for Billy"
Paddy the Da wants to know when he can dig up seed potatoes. Spudman says, "plant potatoes for paddy and dig for Billy, so 17th March to 12th July."
Paddy the Da said, "Sean I need you to ask Farmer Wade a question for me. I planted some seed potatoes yesterday, how long will it take before I can dig them up? Now bear in mind we could still get a light frost over till about mid May."
Spudman said, "Sean the old saying used to be to plant potatoes for paddy and dig for Billy, so 17th March to 12th July."
Music from Tom Jones, Neil Diamond and Ruth Brown.
