Your daily classical soundtrack

Half an hour of back-to-back classical music, including works by Rachmaninov, Paul Simon, Piazzolla, JS Bach, and Helvi Leivisk盲.

Relax at the end of a busy day with half an hour of back to back classical music. A serene Rachmaninov piano study opens today's sequence, leading into a reflective guitar arrangement based on Paul Simon's "The Sound of Silence". Liza Lehmann's resilient song about the advantages of not being married sits alongside J.S. Bach's sublime Air from his 3rd Orchestral Suite, and the seductive "Milonga del Angel" by Piazzaolla. Completing the sequence, is an immersive setting of the Latin text "Ubi Caritas" performed by Voces8, and orchestral music inspired by the arrival of Spring by the Finnish composer Helvi Leivisk盲.
