We're celebrating the best creatives where we live with Phillip Stoneman in for Nina Das Gupta, including:

• The grand return of the Rik Mayall Comedy Festival in Droitwich. Nine days, more than 20 venues and more than three hundred performances - including two of those stages, from us. Hear from some of the headliners, including a star of stand-up and Taskmaster favourite Phil Ellis, who picked up his first normal job in Congleton and first comedy job in Stourbridge - Phil Ellis!

• Plus catch-up with Northfield's finest, the pink-haired laugh-a-minute Brummie Lindsey Santoro, who's treading the boards of the Worcestershire canal town. Discover why she was destined to become a comedian.

• Discover some comedy magic, courtesy of Droitwich's Charlie Robinson, with three hometown shows at Rik Mayall. He's been wowing audience since he was in single digits.

• Hear from the Kidderminster and Birmingham podcasters who have got the royal seal of approval! Discover how the Claret & Blue football fancast has created a regular listener out of none other than the future king.

• It's one of the world's biggest literary festivals, with audience numbers comparable with Glastonbury. We're off to the Herefordshire border meeting some of the performers, including Danny Robins from Uncanny -with the questions you never knew you needed answering!
