Meg鈥檚 funeral is cancelled for a new autopsy, and the sleuths learn that there was no brain tumour. Meg鈥檚 half-sister suspects their mother knows more and begins a search for answer.

Megan has tragically died. Her friends are devastated, as is the entire Believe in Magic community. But, on the day of her funeral, the service is suddenly cancelled. The authorities want to carry out another autopsy, and rumours circulate that the police are now involved.

The sleuths ask: if Megan didn鈥檛 have a brain tumour, how did she die? Megan鈥檚 older half-sister, Nina, has long doubted the diagnosis and is equally confused by her sudden death. Soon, a coroner's inquest concludes Megan died of natural causes - cardiac arrhythmia caused by fatty liver disease. Crucially, there is no mention of a brain tumour, and her brain is described as 'morphologically normal'.

The sleuths feel vindicated. But some of Megan鈥檚 closest friends are baffled. If Megan wasn鈥檛 ill, why did she show symptoms? And why was she taking such enormous quantities of medication? Nina suspects their mother, Jean, knows more, and she begins a search for an answer.
