Anna is spending Sunday with … 'Stranger Things' actor Amybeth McNulty, charity founders Colin and Eithne Bell and multi-world champion kickboxer Banaz Ali.
From sleepy Milford in County Donegal to finding worldwide fame, Amybeth McNulty speaks to Anna about catching the acting bug as a child in Letterkenny and landing her first major leading role in 'Anne with an E' at just 14.
She also speaks movingly about losing both her parents at a young age, navigating grief and she reflects on the poignancy of her audition for 'Stranger Things' being the very last one her parents knew she did before they passed away.
Also, on the programme Colin Bell and his wife Eithne have channelled their grief at losing their son Kevin into helping people across the island of Ireland bring loved ones home for family funerals.
Following Kevin’s death in an accident in New York in 2013, his friends, family and colleagues raised money to repatriate his remains back to Ireland. As a permanent legacy to Kevin, the Bell family decided to use the funds to set up a charity to help other families who find themselves in a similar situation. Now after helping bring home 2500 people, Colin and Eithne have decided to take a step back from the more demanding side of their charity roles.
Banaz Ali is a multi-world champion kickboxer who's just been awarded a prestigious sportsperson of the year award and get this,
she's only 11 years old. She joins Anna in studio with her coaches Michael and Finneen Bradley from 'Mickey Finns Martial Arts Academy'.
