Episode Four: The 2010s and Now

Episode 4 of 4

SHERELLE presents a four-part series tracing the iconic UK queer clubs and the music they championed from the 1970s to the present.

Presented by SHERELLE, the final episode includes contributions from legendary DJ Fat Tony, who recalls the hedonism of Trade (at Turnmills, Clerkenwell Road, London), the UK鈥檚 first legal, all-night, after-hours club; Karlie Marx, the mother of the bass heavy FLINTA club night in London, PLASTYK; DJ Teecra, who talks about the community driven London nightclub and arts space, FOLD; and cultural producer, curator and television personality Ryan Lanji about redefining the alternative South Asian and Bollywood experience with the LGBTQIA+ Bollywood club night, HUNGAMA.

Throughout the series, SHERELLE herself also shares her accounts, stories and experiences of QTPOC club nights in south and east London along with the tracks that take her there.
