Dilly Carter is joined by Kitchen Disco diva and interior maximalist, Sophie Ellis-Bextor. She opens up about finding joy amongst chaos – her home is unashamedly filled with trinkets, curated clutter and she even encourages her children to draw on the wall.

Sophie brings in three items from home for Dilly to unpack. They find out why Sophie identifies with a Blythe doll, delve into a baby photo which was so much more than just a picture and discover the slogan from Sophie’s band in the 1990s that means something very different to her today.

From a singing career that started when she was 16 to a new-found Gen Z fanbase thanks to Saltburn, and five children along the way, Sophie reflects on how she’s learnt to embrace life’s chaotic journey without sacrificing her values.

Sort Your Life Out Unpacked is hosted by tidying expert Dilly Carter. In each episode, Dilly chats to a celebrity guest and unboxes three mystery objects from their home that reveal what is really important to them. At the end, Dilly asks her guest whether they are going to keep, donate or recycle any of the items and, along the way, we learn how to organise and sort our own lives out.
