This week, London drummer, producer and bandleader Moses Boyd is sitting in for Soweto Kinch, sharing some of the exciting jazz releases from the UK and around the world.

This week on 'Round Midnight, drummer, producer and bandleader Moses Boyd is sitting in for Soweto. Moses is a pioneering figure in London鈥檚 jazz scene, who released his Mercury Prize nominated debut Dark Matter in 2020. He has worked with artists from jazz and beyond including Little Simz, Beyonc茅, Four Tet and Sons of Kemet.

From Monday to Thursday this week, Moses welcomes bassist and singer Amy Gadiaga as his 4/4 guest. Hailing from Paris, she is an alumna of both London's Trinity Laban Conservatoire and Tomorrow鈥檚 Warriors, and recently released her second EP BabyGoated.

Amy will be choosing four albums from her collection that have been meaningful to her. To begin the week, she chooses a legendary jazz singer of the late 20th century.

Also in the programme, there鈥檚 music from Knats, Greg Foat and Ego Ella May.
