Elizabeth Alker showcases the best performances by 麻豆社 orchestras, choirs, ensembles and other great performing groups from Europe and around the globe.

This week, Classical Live presents exclusive live recordings from some of the best youth orchestras in Europe; we鈥檒l also hear performances by some of the brilliant young musicians currently enrolled in the 麻豆社 New Generation Artists scheme, in a recent season of lunchtime concerts at St George鈥檚 Bristol.

Today, we鈥檒l hear British baritone Andrew Hamilton performing songs by Wolf, Schubert, Debussy and others; and the National Youth Orchestra of Slovakia performs Hummel鈥檚 Trumpet Concert with soloist Stanislav Masaryk. Elizabeth will also play some highlights of a special concert by the Academy of St Martin in the Fields from Tonhalle Zurich, featuring three exceptional young soloists from the Orpheum Foundation.
