A threatening letter sent to the Wakefields corroborates Bergerac鈥檚 hunch that they have the wrong people in custody for Cate鈥檚 murder. It leads Bergerac to a new suspect, hellbent on revenge.
With the team building a case against Mia and Tomos, Bergerac has to team up with his mother-in-law, Charlie, after discovering a new lead that takes him into the heart of the Jersey elite.
Bergerac must use all of his fabled skills as a detective to tackle a new suspect that could blow the whole case wide open. But just as he seems to be making progress, a dangerous and unholy alliance is formed against him.
