With 38-year-old Lionel Messi playing in his sixth World Cup, Argentina will look to go all the way again four years on from their triumph in Qatar. They played in Dallas during the group stage of the 1994 edition when they were beaten 2-0 by Bulgaria.
Austria, managed by former Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick, are making their first appearance at a World Cup since 1998. They impressed at Euro 2024 finishing top of their group ahead of France and the Netherlands.
