Alan meets a grumpy goat while he鈥檚 out fishing.
鈥淚've got a quick story for you,鈥� says Alan in Carryduff. 鈥淢any years ago I went fishing on the River Bann, near Ballymoney, beside a long green field with a billy goat. He was tethered to a big stake with about 20 yards of rope. When he saw me, he would headbutt the fence, and try and headbutt me.鈥�
鈥淥h, he didn鈥檛 like you,鈥� Sean says, 鈥淚 see.鈥�
鈥淎nd one day the rope was so taut I thought he was going to get me. I am convinced he was the great great granddaddy of Farmer Wade's goat.鈥�
鈥淐ould well be...鈥� Sean says. 鈥淵ou should send a photograph. Perhaps we could identify the rascal.鈥�
