Day three of the European Athletics Championships draws to a close in Birmingham with local boy Matt Hudson-Smith aiming to become the most successful European male athlete in history in the men鈥檚 400 metres. Fresh from winning under-23 gold last season, Emily Newnham could be the one to watch in the women鈥檚 400m hurdle final. Medals will also be decided in the men鈥檚 discus, the women鈥檚 hammer and the men鈥檚 sprint hurdles.
