The heptathlon continues on day five of the European Athletics Championships with the third event of seven, the shot put, kick-starting the evening session. Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Jade O鈥橠owda represent Great Britain in Birmingham, with Ireland鈥檚 Kate O鈥機onnor another contender for gold. The women鈥檚 10,000m also gets underway on the track, with Megan Keith part of the team after winning European bronze two years ago.
