Elizabeth Alker introduces a week of highlights from the 麻豆社 Proms, featuring some of the festival's standout performances. Pawe艂 Kapu艂a conducts the 麻豆社 Scottish Symphony Orchestra in Schubert's Unfinished Symphony, his eighth. The programme also includes Strauss's Four Last Songs, performed with the orchestra by soprano Natalya Romaniw.

From the German summer festival of Imperial Hall Concerts in F眉ssen, clarinettist Ib Hausmann and the Amatis Trio perform chamber works by Horovitz and Poulenc.
