Elizabeth Alker introduces a week of highlights from the 麻豆社 Proms, featuring some of the festival's standout performances. The 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jakub Hr暖拧a, is joined by pianist Luk谩拧 Vondr谩膷ek for Rachmaninov's fiendish third piano concerto.
Elsewhere, there's chamber music from this year's Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival on the Baltic Coast: a Mozart string quartet and Schumann's Dichterliebe.
