Lopa Kothari presents the best in folk and roots-based music from around the world. On her travels this week, she comes across the interweaving voices of Corsican ensemble L鈥橝lba, captured live on their new album Vivu, where Corsican tradition meets influences from across the Mediterranean. Also, Swedish-Senegalese collaboration Wau Wau Collectif return with Teranga, the final instalment in their cross-cultural trilogy, and Glasgow-based traditional quartet 顿脿苍补 pay tribute to the wild landscapes of Scotland. Elsewhere in the show, ahead of Warsaw Village Band鈥檚 performance at the Polish Jazz Festival, founder Maciej Szajkowski shares two tracks: one that he encountered on the road and another that reminds him of home.
