Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast
Today, they are joined by musician, DJ and Inspiral Carpets keyboardist Clint Boon, who shares his First, Last and Everything - that鈥檚 his first record, the most recent one he's enjoyed and the record that means everything to him.
Clint came to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s as the keyboard player in Manchester indie band Inspiral Carpets. Considered amongst the defining bands of the Madchester era, they had hits including This Is How It Feels and Saturn 5. Clint went on to become a well-known DJ and broadcaster in the city and has recently written a new book taking a personal look at Manchester's music scene between 1976 and 2006. As well as chatting about his latest publication, Clint also tells Mark and Stuart more about Inspiral Carpets' new music and tour.
Also on the show... long-running feature The Chain, which gives listeners the chance to pick a track that links in some way to the last. The list now contains over 8,800 songs.
With a selection of music old and new to get the weekend started.
