Donald Macleod explores Cyril Scott’s early life, including his time in Frankfurt, where he met and became friends with Percy Grainger. Scott quickly made a name for himself with a performance of his First Symphony in Darmstadt, followed by his Piano Quartet presented in London by the celebrated Fritz Kreisler.
