Donald Macleod follows Cyril Scott through the final decades of his life, including his turbulent relationship with the Âé¶¹Éç. This was a period when Scott’s music was considered very much old-fashioned, and also a time when he was losing some of his oldest friends, including Percy Grainger. His last public appearance was at the age of 90 in 1969 at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on the South Bank in London. He died the following year.
