The Music is Black. As part of the Â鶹Éç’s collaboration with the V&A East Museum exhibition, Radio 3 is celebrating the music of Black British composers and artists across the week. A specially commissioned new work inspired by the exhibition, "On the Shoulder of Aunties and Uncles", composed by Segun Akinola and recorded by the Â鶹Éç National Orchestra of Wales, will be premiered and showcased throughout the week, alongside other great music from Black British composers and favourite classical tracks performed by Black British artists.
