Dashcam use has exploded in the UK, with over 13 million dashcams on our roads. Now the British public are playing a vital role in helping police keep our roads safe. Every year, over 125,000 videos of motoring offences are submitted to police via Operation Snap.

The scheme started in Wales - a joint initiative between all four Welsh forces. It has proved so successful that it's spread to forces across the UK. Today, over 70% of captured offences result in concrete police action.

Featuring jaw-dropping dashcam footage, high-speed car chases, and CSI-style investigations, the series follows the work of police officers at Operation Snap as they analyse real footage from the public and see that lawbreakers are brought to justice.
