The family head off for a night of camping, but tensions soon rise on the journey. With tempers fraying, Joe loses his rag, and when they finally arrive, Stacey decides there’s one thing that needs to go – the boys’ phones. With the screens confiscated, the family get stuck into games, marshmallows and some proper time together.

Back home, there are big changes afoot. Leighton starts his first day at work, while Stacey and Joe have exciting news of their own – they’ve found a house they love and put in an offer. At the lake, Joe gets to work on the planting with friends Nick and Greg, but things don’t quite go to plan and Stacey eventually has to come to the rescue. Then Joe discovers a nightmare of his own: he’s lost his wedding ring. A frantic search gets underway around the lake, with Mark, Emma and the kids all roped in to help find it.

After their trip to Miami, Stacey and Jemma open up about the negative press and how they’re both coping with the growing scrutiny. Back at Pickle Cottage, Joe faces another test of his animal-handling skills – making friends with the notoriously difficult cockerel. And if he succeeds, Stacey might finally consider his latest animal ambition.

Determined to put Joe’s new-found skills to the test, Stacey books them a very different kind of date: goat yoga. What could possibly go wrong?
And as Stacey breaks the news of their potential move to Sam the Gardener, hoping she’ll come with them on their next adventure, the possibility of leaving Pickle Cottage starts to feel very real.
