In 1972, the 17th Eurovision Song Contest was held in Edinburgh. This clip shows the UK entry, performed by The New Seekers.

The song, called "Beg, Steal or Borrow", finished in second place thanks to a score of 114 points.

The winning entry came from Luxembourg, who had two other Eurovision victories. Vicky Leandros performed "Apr猫s toi" to beat the UK with 128 points.
