Mars rover Spirit
The NASA rover Spirits mission to Mars has finally come to an end, 6 years after it landed on the red planet. In this obituary Dr Chris North tells the amazing story of this plucky rover and how it exceeded every expectation. The rover is dead, but it spirit lives on.
