In 2010 Â鶹Éç Workplace ran a challenge for students at Universities in the north to design a chair and a type of Fabric for the Â鶹Éç building at MediaCityUK. The winning chair design came from Samir Sckillar a design student at Sheffield Hallam University whos’ compartmental chair design matched the need for private conversation space. The Fabric challenge was won by Miriam Trent, a fine art graduate from Leeds Metropolitan University.
