You’ll be very familiar with our guest’s music if not the man behind it. Composer Keith Mansfield joins Roger to chat about penning classic TV themes like Grandstand and Wimbledon, how he’s influenced Gnarls Barkley and Quentin Tarrantino, plus where you can see his all-star band playing live. Our Classic Album of the week is Spirits Having Flown by The Bee Gees while Roger also takes us through a future classic – Boys Don’t Cry by Rumur. Plus from 9 Trudy Kerr rounds up the local jazz music scene including Roger Odell from Shakatak talking about their latest gigs and David Mossman looking ahead to the Margate Jazz Festival.
