July 2007 - Âé¶¹Éç iPlayer – Making the unmissable, unmissable

By the mid 2000s, streaming technology had developed sufficiently to offer whole TV programmes online, and for them to be reliably viewed across the web in much of the UK. Designed by Âé¶¹Éç developers as a simple way of catching up on missed programmes, without an additional fee to pay, the Âé¶¹Éç iPlayer is a complement to conventional TV viewing.
