March 2008 - Â鶹Éç Arabic and Â鶹Éç Persian Television – a new way forward

With dwindling numbers listening to shortwave radio, the Â鶹Éç World Service radically shifted its focus to the Arab and Persian world, and launched two innovative television services. Â鶹Éç Arabic Television provided a solid news service, whilst Â鶹Éç Persian Television focussed on youth and current affairs.
