HIV support centre opens in Luton
The Actionplus Foundation says it's wanted to set up a branch in the town for some time following reports of victims suffering in silence.
Figures show that nearly two thirds of Luton's HIV cases are among Africans who represent 1 per cent of the population.
What's more 60 per cent are diagnosed late.
In this clip the organisation's programme director Gareth Davis tells reporter Toby Friedner the consequences of late diagnosis can be very serious.
