Why the phrase 'bird brain' is unfair
Perhaps we should stop using the term "bird brain" to imply someone's not very bright, if some research on crows is anything to go by. Scientists found that the birds are able to pass certain tests which young children can't. Nicky Clayton is a Professor of Neuroscience at Cambridge University and one of the team who carried out the study.
