A Â鶹Éç journalist reporting on events in Ukraine for Panorama says the atmosphere in Donetsk is "amazingly creepy and quiet".

Reporter John Sweeney spent a week in the area investigating what happened to Malaysian airlines flight MH17, which was reportedly shot down there by pro-Russian rebels.

In an audio diary recorded on the job, he described the damage done to the war-torn region.
