Ebola vaccine ‘ready by end of the year’
A trial of an experimental vaccine against the Ebola virus is beginning in Oxford. It involves using a benign ebola gene in conjunction with a virus that causes colds in chimpanzees. Dr Edward Wright is part of the consortium testing the vaccine.
