NHS England future: Doctor on 'increasing' A&E demand
5 live's Tony Livesey has been visiting a hospital in West Yorkshire, after the new five year vision for the NHS in England was unveiled by new chief executive, Simon Stevens.
Tony has spent time with staff and patients in Airedale General, a busy district hospital near Keighley, to find out what they make of the planned changes.
He spoke to one A&E consultant, Meg Crossley, who said "increasing demand" on her department could be eased if elderly patients were treated at home.
