Labour鈥檚 biggest individual donor has said a curb on EU immigration numbers should be on Ed Miliband鈥檚 list of demands for reforming Britain鈥檚 relationship with Europe.

Responding to a question from 5 live's chief political correspondent John Pienaar John Mills said: 鈥淵es I think it should be on there. Whether it's going to be successfully achieved I think is another matter鈥�.

鈥淚 think on the whole that the scale of immigration that we have got coming in from Europe is high in relation to what this country can reasonably expect to accommodate,鈥� Mr Mills added.
