Lawrenson: Gerrard just wants to Play Football
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard announced this week that he will be leaving his home club at the end of the season, since making his debut in 1998. Former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson told Caroline Barker on Sportsworld that he believes Gerrard "fell out of love" with the club, after not playing as many games as he would like this season.
Gerrard announced that he will be signing with an American club in the summer and Lawrenson believes the move is all with the aim of playing more football.
