Onions: Unsung Kitchen Heroes
Onions are produced and eaten all over the world, few meals are complete without them unless you're in Belgium or Switzerland which come equal last in the UN's world league table of onion consumption. At the other end of the scale are Albania, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, all chopping over 30 kilogrammes per person each year. We find out how well 麻豆社 Language Service journalists know their onions.
