Sleeping centre helps students cope with 'pressure'
The University of East Anglia has set up a sleeping centre to offer tired students the chance to get 40 winks between lectures.
Student union welfare representative, Holly Staynor, said the "nap nook", adorned with sheets on the ceiling, fairy lights and bean bags, helps students to cope with "pressure".
"There is so much pressure placed on us as students," she said. "Some of us have high contact hours, a lot of us have part-time jobs alongside our studies, alongside clubs and societies.鈥
"It's actually turned out that having a small nap in-between those things can really benefit how we engage with campus life".
